Increase on-the-go recycling

There needs to be a good infrastructure for the deposit of the material and frequent collection. On-the-go recycling has always been a difficult area. Bins have to be significantly different from general waste and prevent contamination from general waste.

these types of communication need more financial support to be implemented at scale and to gamify good habits ,DRS can help improve on-the-go recycling but it has to be convenient similar to the purchase of the on-the-go product, other measures have to be taken for the recyclate material There have also been some brilliantly creative campaigns recently on the collection of coffee cups, gum and cigarette butts that got citizens thinking differently about their on-the-go recycling behaviours, would like to see a national consistency collection programme to focus on collecting core items wherever you are away from home.

The current on-the-go recycling infrastructure should be streamlined to focus on collecting these core items through conveniently located bins, with the remainder handled through a much-improved residual sorting and recycling infrastructure.This way it becomes second nature to recycle more and recycle the right things. Better packaging design will make items more recyclable and reduce waste.
